WIWW - 30 weeks

Well, last week just flew by and I just totally missed Wednesday, so today is a smash-up of last week and this week.  I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy's What I Wore Wednesday.

Last week I went on two interviews for Media Specialist positions within my county.   I didn't get either of them, but this is what I wore to both interviews:

And some pics from this week -  30 weeks pregnant now and tired of people telling me,  "Wow, It won't be long now!" and  "You look like you are going to POP!"  
Monday: Notice my seriously cute and VERY comfortable new shoes!! I got them on clearance at DSW!

Eggs! Finally!!

So, if you've been keeping up with our Chicken Adventures,  you know we've been waiting since just after Christmas for eggs.   And today, was the day!  Finally!!!!

I'll let you know soon how they taste!!!!  :)

Quarterly Book Report - March 2011

This may be the most reading I get done all year, but I thought I would post what I've read each "quarter" rather than waiting for an end-of-the-year review:

The Series of Unfortunate Events series by Lemony Snicket I actually only read the first five books - The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, The Wide Window, The Miserable Mill, and The Austere Academy.  I read them because I may someday be a Media Specialist in an elementary or middle school and want to be familiar with some of the popular series/authors.  I have to be honest, I didn't enjoy these books much.  I didn't hate them either.  They were just kind of blah.  I can see how younger kids (upper elementary) might enjoy them.  I feel like at this point I have read enough to be familiar - I don't think I can read the rest of them.We also watched the movie, The Series of Unfortunate Events.  It was based on the first 3 books, and it was just so-so as well.  Great actors and such, but it wasn't all t…
