Orlando Top 10

1. Buca di Beppo - best pizza EVER! Great atmosphere and music too! I can't believe I never went there when we lived in Florida! Luckily there is one in the Atlanta area.

2. Korean Restaurant on Colonial - hole-in-the-wall place, but DELICIOUS Korean bbq! GREAT Beef Bulgogi! Although definitely not a tourist destination, the food was authentic and tasty.

3. Epcot - this one always makes my list. This is my most favorite tourist destination in Orlando. We love the World Showcase and the entire Boardwalk resort area.

4. The Simpsons Ride at Universal - this ride was being built the last time we were at Universal. It was well worth the long line - it was GREAT - at least for me. Being a simulation ride, it made Carlos a bit sick, but he was sweet enough to ride it with me anyway. I am looking forward to the Harry Potter ride next time we go!

5. BB Kings - THE BEST HOUSE BAND ANYWHERE! Definitely the best horn section anywhere! I don't know about the food, as I've never eaten there, but the BB Kings All-Stars band is awesome, the people watching is great, and the dance floor is always full!

6. Yehaa Bob show at Port Orleans is a MUST DO! It is FREE (What else is there that is free at Disney?) Free to go, free to park, and LOTS of entertainment! Simply go to Port Orleans Riverside, say you are there for the Yehaa Bob show, park, and walk on in. The show starts at 8:30 pm in the bar between the lobby and the restaurant.

7. Habana Grill - This is by far the best Cuban food in Orlando. The atmosphere is good (it is decorated as if you are sitting in an outside courtyard), the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is outstanding. You really can't ask for more than that in a restaurant. Buenos Everything!!!

8. Bahama Breeze on I-drive - We always go here to eat and listen to the steel drum musician on the porch. Porch seating is first come, first serve (which means it is usually faster than waiting for the restaurant seating). There is a limited menu for the porch, but my favorite, Chicken Tostone Nachos, are available! Just be careful: this can become quite a "hot spot" on the weekends, so arrive early!

9. Pat O'Briens on Universal Citywalk - Always a good time! The best time to go is on a weekend night, as it is usually more crowded, and this is a place where the bigger the crowd, the more fun it is! Even if you have to fight/wait for a table, it is well worth it! You can request your favorite songs at this dueling piano bar.

10. Latin Quarter on Universal Citywalk, Thursday night - Ladies Night - This restaurant usually clears out and the club is pretty empty most nights -- except for Thursday night, which is "Ladies Night." Then it is PACKED with locals - local Puerto Ricans for the most part. It is free for ladies, and ladies also drink free all night. They play great music - a salsa set, merengue set, bachata set, and more!
